| William Tell – Fairfax (You're Still The Same) Featuring Andrew McMahon Lyrics

I think the 4th line is "But nobody said that you are so LA" .. kind of a dig at the way girls from Los Angeles supposidly act.
I think he's kind of saying that even though, yes, she is kind of crazy and def. addicted to drugs... no one said that she has to be this way. And that even though she's so into that world of drugs and alcohol and hot men and whatever... he's always been the one that's been there for her even though it doesn't really seem like she wants him. |

Sounds is the remake of Radio Sound, which Will wrote about his feelings when he left SoCo. The lyrics are changed to make it seem more romantic/about a girl or relationship, but it still has the same meaning... At least I get the feeling from the "your song" line that it's about music and life and how they clash and everything he felt having to leave his friends behind... |

1. It's isn't "Ekko" in her... it's Edgar Winter, a musician that Will idolizes.
2. Will said that this song is kind of a reminder that life doesn't always go the way you want it, it's unplanned and hectic... and you just need to slow down sometimes and live it. |

| William Tell – Just Like You, Only Sweeter Lyrics

LYOS makes me think about comparing two people... one is a bad relationship you just got out of where you always felt like you were the only one trying and were getting sh*ted on in the process... the other, new one, is the opposite of that old one...
It almost feels like a letter or a conversation with the old girl with how he keeps saying "She's just like you only ..." better :-P |

I still think it's about a friend... just because in the lyrics he's singing about a guy that "never touched you right." I think the Italian is talking about that guy... the bad one, not Will himself. |

At a show Will did a while back he said that Trouble is about some girl he knows that apparently had a lot of problems.... I guess the point of the song, at least what I get, is that even when you think you have everything in your life going wrong... you're not the only one. |

| William Tell – Slipping Under (Sing Along To Your Favorite Song) Lyrics

This is one of the most catchy tracks on the album... it kind of makes me think about childhood and when nothing could really get in your way. Just going back and getting away from it all....
(And yes, it is "Sing along TO your favorite song".. why else would it be in the title :-P) |

Maybe Tonight is such a beautiful song... live and acoustic it sounds even more amazing than the CD version.
And don't get mad at younglove_r because apparently on some of the CD's that were released "Trouble" and "Maybe Tonight"'s places were swapped... so people think Trouble is Maybe Tonight now and vice versa... |

| William Tell – Jeannie Lyrics

Actually, in the CD booklet, it's credited as being Italian. So the only thing I see wrong is that it's not Spanish.
The song is about one of his friends, name, obviously, Jeannie. They're like best friends... and it's supposed to be that sort of "hold your head up when things get bad" song... |
