I can't believe no one has commented on this song yet. It's definitely my favorite by Feist. She sings it with such raw emotion. I love it. My favorite parts are: "Come close again Be my pause before the end I miss you, oh, like a fading dream And I have a feeling you know what I mean" and "And in our old kitchen Record player never ends They were once But now no more You know that it’s real And they were before Nothing said and silence gained And my body grows but heart lays" Golly gee whiz, I am in love with Leslie Feist. |

i agree with you, 1000yellowdaises. it definitely resembles jenny's work with the watson twins more than most of rk's other stuff. such a heart-wrenching song. i listen to it late at night with the door closed and the lights all off and cry. |

this is possibly the most beautiful song i have ever heard. observer01: it is written about his relationship with judy collins (known for her piercing blue eyes). stephen stills later stated that he knew at the time of writing & recording it that their breakup was "imminent". technically they were still together but the relationship was coming to a close. |
