This was on the b-side of 'Strange Town' and is about groupies. I love the way the song seems to quietly seethe with anger through each verse and then suddenly explodes into the chorus with barely a single drum beat as forewarning. Magnificent! |

This is a brilliant song with a great vocal from what is probably the Jam's best album - 'All Mod Cons' - but sing or hum along to it (if you're the kind of person who does that sorta thing :)) and you'll be hard pressed not to lapse into 'She loves you, yeah yeah yeah' at some point. Go on, just try it. |
