After reading the forteen other comments to this song which to me are accurate. I do find the song about the second coming of Christ as written in the last chapter in Revelations and the two lover are being judged threw the battle of magog swarming around they enter the New Jerusalem as they feel there souls ignite. For me personally I feel both privileged and blessed seeing Genesis W/ Peter Gabriel do Suppers Ready twice in my life and to this day another live band concert will ever hold a candle too them. as they reunite on there 2007 summer world tour I urge anyone to dish out the 200 Dollars a ticket for a halfway decent seat and see them live for the most beautifulest musical experience of your life. |
