| Linkin Park – Waiting For The End Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
This song sounds alot like how graduating from a school feels like. It's difficult to move on. It feels like everything is moving too fast and that things shouldn't ended yet they have. Nasty comments were made in frustration to people who could have been good friends forever leaving a them hating you and you may never see them again. Letting go of the the life style you had during your time in that school is usually the hardest part of moving on. You sometimes want to desperately hold on to it because it's all you ever knew. This is probably not what LP had in mind when they wrote it, but when I hear this song the feelings I had during and around the time of graduation from school rush into my mind. I almost want to cry from the surge of emotions both good and bad. |

| We Came As Romans – Searching, Seeking, Reaching, Always Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| To me this is always about pushing yourself to be a better person. It's certainly idealistic. To always be looking to improvement one's self is actually very difficult. Typically you will always be better in the end of a trial for self improvement but the trouble is not settling for that one particular end and to keep pushing further. This song captures the feelings and emotions that I feel whenever I push myself to improve at anything. | |
| Soilwork – As We Speak Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Alright, everyone who made no comments about the lyrical meaning needs to shove a pencil into their right eye as hard as they can. Seriously people, this is NOT MusicIlike.com or GenresIDoNotLike.org Getting back on topic, I think this song is about how time always seems to flow forward despite how bad things go. No matter how painful an event may be, time isn't going to wait for you to recovery. It will simply go on carrying everything with it. It also tells us to keep moving with time, because even if we are hurting or mourning, everything will eventually heal with time. They also seem to be saying that time spent mourning or cowering is wasted time that all adds up in our lifetime. Lastly they ask themselves aswell as everyone else; Was all the mourning and time we spent pitying ourselves worth the time we lost in our life? When they say: As we speak we turn to stone, I think its referring to how once things have happened they cannot be changed, therefore written in stone. |

| In Flames – Reflect the Storm Lyrics | 19 years ago |

This song seems like its about hiding your real nature even if it hurts. Why? Because your true side may not be perfect or 'popular" and others may criticize your for it. "Away from the light of the sun Away, I find what is real" This part seems to be saying that the singer is finding his own path and beliefs away from the norm. |

| In Flames – Dead Alone Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song is about staying with your beliefs no matter how much hatred and pain you suffer, even willing to accept death or anything just to stay with them and live by them. Near the end it sounds like the singer is adding in that he does NOT want people to try to understand him regardless of what happens because they will never be able to understand. Overall, this one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Its strangely comforting, yet invigorating... |

| Soilwork – Brickwalker Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song seems like its about wanting to control so many things, yet being irresponsible and surprized when the shit hits the fan. | |
| Soilwork – Cranking The Sirens Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think hellfighter hit the bullseye on this one. It seems like its about depression, perhaps too much stress and people on one's back. Contemplation of suicide just to relieve some pain/stress to achieve some peace and quiet | |
| All That Remains – Become The Catalyst Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| These lyrics can have two meanings to me(depending on the mood I am in when I hear them.) Most of the time the meaning is about letting rage consume you so you have the courage to do something. Or perhaps using anger to give you courage to finish something you cant otherwise. Overall to me its all about letting rage taking over you for courage. | |
| Manowar – Carry On Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| To me this song is all about pushing on through the hard times, even when someone you loved/liked is not there to help you. As the lyrics say; Carry on, forever carry on! | |
| Manowar – Die for Metal Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Let me first say, I think this song is going to be horribly misinterpreted due to the lyrics nature. I believe these lyrics are NOT to be interpreted literately! With that being said; To me these lyrics are about sticking true to your beliefs and not being afraid to stand up for what you believe in regardless of the results. They also seem to hint at staying beside friends who are in times of need. |
