Eminem – You're Never Over Lyrics 15 years ago
"...and excuse the corny metaphor
They'll never catch up to all this energy that I've mustered".

I think that should be

"They'll never 'ketchup' to all this energy that I've 'mustard'" since he's saying it's corny.

The chorus to this song is *so* reminiscent of the old 'Brand New' sound (back on 'Your Favorite Weapon').

It's a f*cking ace song though.
A
bout the guy who lost the girl; she moved on, he moved back home and then he goes back to the town where she is. Only to be told by everyone that she's moved on but he just wants confirmation from her mouth before he does the same. He's holding on for that shred of hope that says she still loved him

How do that make it cooler? Rolling Stone means somebody is constantly travelling (ie. out on tour). Rolling song makes no sense.

"I love how this band uses a verse from the opening track "The Great Escape" to finish off this song.."

It's called a reprise, dictionary definition says:

"In music a reprise is the repetition or return of the opening material later in a composition.."

Works very well though.
