| Led Zeppelin – Houses of the Holy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this songs rocks. The album Houses of the Holy (which didn't have this song on it) is great too. I don't believe this song has anything to do about satan. I hate when people think all songs from bands like Zeppelin or the Beatles have to do with LSD, and Satan. You guys ever think that it just sounded good? | |

John Fogerty and Doug Clifford (I think) were drafted for 'Nam but went into the reserves and then got medical discharges, which would explain the whole anti-draft thing. Plus, innocent people were dying for something they didn't want to do in a place where we weren't susposed to be. Stupid government, I wanna move to Canada. HAHA |

I love this song, one of my favorite songs of all time. I actually like that Mockingbird refrence, now that I think of it the book came out around CCR's time and a song about it from a southern band wouldn't be surprising. |

Are you guys kidding me? CCR was completely ANTI-drugs, so why the hell would they write a song about smoking dope?! And chris4420, the quote you posted totally controdicts your opinion on this topic, retard. CCR is probably the greatest band to not be influenced by the drugs of its time, if not the greatest band of the 60's-70's (behind the Beatles of course) |
