I love how Jónsi sings the words"já anskotann". As the music gradually builds, I anticipate a great outburst to conclude the verse. bBut instead he sings it so softly and he music suddenly stops. But only for a moment. And though they are vulgar words, it's mesmerizingly angelic. |

I absolutely love this song. :] Personally, I think the song is self-explanatory. It's about the singer who despite the demeaning words and voices of others, chose to stay with the one that he/she loves. It reminds me of doing what you think is right and not allowing the other voices to sway you from that. :] |
