The video was brilliant - all that money raining down on Liverpool Street Station - wish I was there. The song is basically how record companies exploit the music business, hence the video where real money was thrown away... |

This song is clearly about the Catholic Church - maybe Paul (Draper) is a disaffected Catholic or just suspicious of religion? |

Damon once said this song was about any seaside town in the UK - hence the reference to sea - for some reason he finds seaside towns rather depressing....come to Aberystwyth Damon, you'll love it...NOT! |

The song itself is quite obvious in its meaning. However, having only just gotten into the album after owning it for 1 year, this is the best track after Closest Thing...it starts at a gentle plodding pace, quite innocent and calm, but then in a short time its running away and SHOUTING at you, inviting you join in. Tears for fears have a knack of doing this well, witness Shout, Year of Knife, Everybody wants to Rule the World. |

Wow no-one has commented on this work of art. Its one of those break-up songs, the lyrics are just soooo true. Paddy McAloon has to be the most underrated lyric master of this generation. |
