This is one of my favorite songs by ATL. What I think the song's story is is that the girl is just a tease and at first he was just there to do sexual things... Later he moves away then he dreams about her for a longg time and so he decides to come back into town to tell her he loves her and propose to her. He then finds out that the girl has already moved away. She tells him that she's been a tease and she didn't mean for him to fall for her and that she'll be in his head if he ever needs her. Then the guy is let down and returns back home with nothing. Loveee it. Fell in love with this song the first time I ever heard it. |

I agree with the majority of the people who think about what this song is about. It's probably about a person who's going to commit suicide but the singer is saying that he'll be there to support her and stand by her side until the day she dies. But he knowsss that he can be the one to save her because he's willing to do whatever it takes to do so. Then he begs her to stay "Please tell me you'll stayy" This could also be about someone having a life-threatening disease (liek cancer) and he can't help her dying but she has to one day and until that day, he'll be there for her and stand by her side. This song has so much emotion, I absolutely love it. |

First person= the person who he has a real relationship with Third person= the lady on the side. i think i get it now. ok soo, shaant is cheating on his gf and he meets this guy and he goes "just chase skirts instead." like don't have relationships, just sleep around. "you want to be dressed in poetry but imagry dosent fit...ect." means the girl whos the 3rd person in the relationship is in love with him but hes in love with the girl who he was with in the first place. so then the phrase "& what i siad was never said it's just a lyrical lie" means like he already said like I have feelings for you but then he doesn't mean it to the 3rd person cuz shes just on the side. I have no idea what this part means “you’re moving but not aware your’re drowsy without a care except keeping your whites behind your lids and your lids are your best canvas I can only imagine what your painting And your body on my mattress is proof And your makeup on your pillow is proof But do you think I am telling you the truth” ok so im guessing... the “you’re moving but not aware.. you’re drowsy without a are” part. It might mean like he confronted the first perscon how he’s cheating and then she goes and gets drunk and he takes her home and gets her pregno and then hes like I have proof that we did it last night so I’m yo baby’s daddy! And so then that’s how he gets her to not be mad at him. but that's just my opiniooonn. |
