I think it's about drugs in genreal. Not neccessarily alcohol.. but its about this downward spirale that is the effect of drugs and pain and hopelessness.. |

In my opinion this song is about someone who was picked on.. and after a few years the person looks back to the past and the hard times and realises that he is stronger than ever and ready to look into the bullys eyes and say "Yeah who are you? What if i say i will never surrender"
