I have to bring it up - isn't it convenient that Jared changes the meanings of the songs as much as his ever-changing moods? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE 30stm, but I think Jared doesn't want everyone to know the feelings behind his music...he is an f'ing weirdo, guys... and when I listen to this song, it screams passion to me. Maybe Jared is too much in love with himself to change...and that it what the song is about. |

I think the line "I'm a sex-change And a damsel with no heroine" refers to his battle with Anorexia. It's a disease widely associated with females, and I'm sure he knows all the facts first-hand. But I also believe it has a double-meaning, referring to being called a fag and liking to wear eyeliner, etc. I think he finally feels comfortable with his life and the decisions he has made along the way - whether that has to do with Natalie or not, I can't say, but its' all good... |

Absolutely. This song - hell, this album - is brilliant. I have always loved Silverchair, and this is the most mature, honest and finely crafted album of their career. This song just makes you want to get up and dance! |
