I love how Jeff is absolutely in love with Anne Frank. And i think two headed boy means he's like Peter in some way, like how much Jeff loves Anne Frank. "And in the dark we will take off our clothes And they'll be placing fingers through the notches in your spine And when all is breaking Everything that you could keep aside Now your eyes ain’t moving now They just lay there in their climb " That's like in the concentration camps, Jeff's thinking about how in the dark, They'd take off their clothes and put them in the gas showers. Or, Like you know when you get that shiver down your spine? I think that is what he meant. Like, describing how Anne Frank felt, or how they would try and crawl up on you to try and get some air. Honestly, Every time i listen to NMH i get a shiver down my spine, and a rush. There songs are good, and non-cliched. I love this band So fucking much. |

First of all, I read a comment concerning Child birth, and when Egg and Sperm collide, Very good comment, really well thought out, but i really do think this song has to do with mixing coke/meth and alcohol together. "Splayed out on a bath mat Six miles north of South Platte He just wants his life back What's in that paper nap sack It's what goes undelivered Undelivered" It can't really get more obvious. He's sprwled out in his bathroom, fucking sick and feeling like shit, but he's not dying, and he's starting to wonder why. I mean, how do you get "He just wants his life back What's in that paper nap sack" Confused with making a child? He's a confused person, and says he wants his life back, but instead he still continues to do what he does. He's trying and trying to quit, but just can't. I love Andrew Bird, And this song can have many meanings, I just think it means he fucked up one night, Had a litttle too much coke and alcohol, And thought he should have died, But didn't. This doesn't even have to do with him per say. |

I love this song. It's so beautiful, screw it, i love Sonny Moore, he really is amazing. I thought this song, in a religious way- maybe because i want to do it for some whacky prayer thing we do. I'm not the religious type really i'm not. I go to Church sunday's, but i curse like a sailor and i sin as much as i breathe. This song, reminded me of Jesus dying and giving EVERYTHING away. I hate when we use that term "I gave Everythhing away" when you gave one simple thing away. HE gave his life, i think that's what it is. And now to see the world, how it is today. If you gave up your life, to "save" poeple, and saw what happened in today's world, i think you'd puke. I know i would. But really, i'm not that religious. I really odn't even believe in Jesus |
