This song to me is a relationship I just got out of. My love left me for an "ex-friend" of mine. When I hear the lyrics "Her Heart beats on She's just not, giving up yet Though blinded by the devil's touch She rises above him" Just makes me think that maybe, somehow deep in her soul she is realizing that the one she left me for is but a demon, tempting her, but she's not giving up, she's racing towards the light, and rising above the trickery he has bestowed. Although I know my sweet story won't end that way, listening to this song soothes the torn pieces of my soul, the fragments of my heart are slowly sewn together, thank god for imagination... |
