i agree, man. i think you nailed it. that line "I think our God isn't God if He fits inside our head" could be interpreted in different ways, and hopefully it's to the effect that you described. we're not going to have complete comprehension of God in this sin cursed body, but like you said, God laid out concrete things about Himself in the Bible. That's our reference point for absolute truth about Him. |

I talked to Daniel, the drummer, at a show last fall, and he told me that they had taken inspiration for this song from a book by A.W. Tozer. Basically, it's directed to us Christians. We need to wake up and realize that we have the opportunity to tell others about our Redeemer. 'No passenger, no parasite' is the blunt reminder that those without Jesus as their Savior are going to be separated from Him for eternity in hell. |
