Great song. The rap part (originally performed by Ben Hulbert on the CD, though I've seen Jon Micah do it live and he does it well) is easily the best. |

This song is on the soundtrack to the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." An excellent song (one of Kutless' best, in my opinion) for an excellent movie. |

I'm gonna have to disagree CIA420, to an extent. While I do think that Morgan does a bit too much "vocalizing," if you will, on the new album I also think that it adds to the overall atmosphere of each song. It shows a powerful contrast between his and Lajon's voices. Sure, we've all heard this contrast on previous albums, but I think it is more pronounced here, especially on songs such as "Story of Your Life."
On a semi-related note, I wonder if Sonny is anything of a singer. I'd be interested to hear what he can pull off in Clint's absence, if anything. |

Fantastic song, and yes, it is about the birth of John's daughter.
A lot of people I know have compared this song to Creed's "With Arms Wide Open" because of the similar subject matter, but I think that is a VERY unfair comparison. Sevendust are, always have been, and always will be musically superior to Creed. Why they even agreed to ever tour with them back in the day is beyond me; aside from wanting to get noticed. |

Oh I know they weren't trying to be deep...it's just that this song, when compared with other songs of it's type that they've written, kind of sucks in my opinion. Only lyrically of course; certainly not musically.
What do you guys think of the accompanying video? |

Okay, while this song totally kicks ass musically, it is one of the weakest efforts, lyrically speaking, in Sevendust's entire catalog. Sure, the guys have written some not-so-deep stuff before, but this is God-awful.
Nevertheless, the video for this song on the enhanced portion of the Alpha CD is hilarious to watch. Also, it's not only available at Target...you can get it on Amazon.com, but it'll cost you upwards of $20. |

This isn't really a song, more of an interlude of (what sounds like, anyway) bassist Vinnie acting like a moron, lol. It's like the 10th or 11th track on Home. |

They didn't lose their edge, stevus. They just refined their sound. And I think it sounds wonderful. But to each their own. |

Holy cow...this was one of my favorite entrance themes for any wrestler ever, and I had no idea it was Sevendust who played it! Is that Morgan and/or Clint doing most of the vocals? 'Cause it sure as hell doesn't sound like Lajon. |
