What a song with so much in it! Hey the Dakota is mentioned! I think North Dakota also has the bad lands to the west --ha I live there so if I 'm wrong well then I'm clueless. I thought of the Native Americans when it came to genocide and I think it's about taking their land. I like the mixes of religion --interesting he chose 'mute' for the Qu'ran ( I am Muslim). There is so much and less profound thoughts coming to me but I wish I could write out a good meaning of the song. |

whoa intense. This song is like "hard" with the way Alex Turner sounds like he's yelling the lyrics out & the background music is pounding it out. Interesting. Hmm not sure if I can get what the lyrics mean now though maybe later on I might be able to drop some good thoughts. |

Yeah I agree on the ideas of band obsession and fans screaming like crazy --I wasn't sure how I felt about "japanese scream" at first because I'm a big foreign fan but really it's nothing bad because I can just see massive Japanese fans screaming insanely & they can get famous for that; also just fans in general. It's also about the life of fame and what gets annoying and how you can forget the old ways easily but you shouldn't in the end. |

Wow for some reason I thought "what this song is by incubus? whoa" and I've listen to it countless of times on the radio years ago and I'm sure it's still on now. But I'm still surprised! Anyway this is a great song about doing things your own way rather then letting others influence your feelings, choices, and everything else in between. This is a fantastic song and one of my old time favorites. The lyrics express the emotions just right. |

This song is amazing, has it's profound parts, and just makes you stop and soak it all up before reflecting your life to it or thinking about anyone who can relate to it. Yes it's an emotional song but don't say emo like emocore music cause this song is like different from that type. Or I just see that way and if I'm wrong to you don't freak just ignore me. |
