Ive already commented but i still think the car crash is a metphore for a relationship ending but i also think the bit where he sings and the air cuts like glass means there is lots of tension in the air. Also I think the relationship is on the rocks because the other one has moved hence the phone line bit.. Also I think the reason the relationship is on the rocks is because its long distance and she has changed because he sings and congratualtions you have become what you wanted. To me that sounds like thins other person has changed. Dunno.. just what i think. |

Forgot to say i will be soon part of the military. I dont nessesarily agree with the war, but i think we need to support wats happening. The military isnt just therre to cause havoc they do good things too. i think this song definately has two sides to it. the first voice is about how politicians and governments have a say i nwhat the whole country does and blah blah. and how everyone is too scared to do something about it. Too scared to take a risk. People are too scared to step a toe outta line.
The second verse is about how it effects the people, soldiers and chldren included. I personally think soldiers are out there for a reason. If you dont protect your country then you'll be attacked next. September 11 anyone? The war has gone on pretty much since then, or maybe i was too young to know about anythign before that. Im not really into polotics and any of that but i thought the war started cos iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Forgive me if im wrong. Im not real sure but yeah. Anyway i spose everyone has different opinions and believes different things. Some people support bush and some people dont. We are all entitled to our own opinion! |

well i think this song is def about a guy in a relationship and his gf kepps cheating on him and his family and friends know it but he is too blind to see it cos he loves her too much i think that is what "Thrown to the wolves in the minds of your enemies And I'm stone in the eyes of your foolishness" means. And in the end i think he breaks up to "even the score" and he feels that he is ntohing more then a line in her book, meaning that he is just another guy to add to her long list of dudes she has cheated with!! might be wrong but oh well lol |

I love Linkin Park and have since i was like 11 i love this new song heaps too spesh the piano thingo at the start but i dnt like the clip for it at all it doesnt really match with linkin park even if they are changling.. i dunno LP have had some great original clips in the past and this seems to be like everyone elses clips... Wolfmother meets U2 anyone??

i think this song is about a girl who is depressed and her friends no the reason and it becasue of her drug addict boyfriend... To Adularia i think hybrid theory is a better name too, it describes their music better and who they are.. because a hybrid is too things that dnt normally go together but in the end you can make it work.. like rap and rock mixing makes a grea sound if that makes sense.. imay not of explained it too good lol sorry lol |

I have no idea if this is right but maybe "if you would shed your yellow" means if you would shed your sickness cos in english we are reading a book and yellow is refered to as an ugly colour symbolic of sickness. It sorta makes sense.

well this may not have anything to do with wat has been said lately cos iseriously cant be bothered reading all 7 pages and i only read the first.
But to those people who say that a band isnt good once they are known are dicks, it means they have made it, they are on the other side oof the music barricade now. Just because more people like them now dnt mean that they are any less of a band. If you dnt like them now just because every one else does then you truely arent a true fan. ANd how can you make judgement on kids wearing linkin park shirts think they are top shit. You dnt even know them, they could be a true fan, unlike yourslef. Just cos they are younger doesnt mean they dnt have an opinion and can understand what the song means. If you must look down upon the so called posers, jsut point and laugh if you must but dnt make judgement. I ve liked linkin park since i was 11 and im now 17 that 6 years, so does that mean when i was younger i was just posing, no it ,means that when i was younger i was the one supporting them when they started out. I have all their underground stuff too, but hey if i was wearing a linkin ark tshirt according to some of you i am a poser!! Dnt make judgements on peple you dnt know.
On a brighter note i think this song is about trying to live up to something and you cant or wanting to do someting and others dnt agree with you. whether it is your mum dad sister bro, bf gf uncle aunty cousin or wat ever, it cna be interpreted in so many ways. and can mean so many things to so many different people. One of my all time favourite song my my all time favourite band. |

well i think this song is about a funeral too, hence the title the end. I love the "i encourage your smiles.. I expect you wont cry" bit. It also seems that the patient doesnt want people to worry about his death and to move on with their lives.
And one more thing to those people leaving comments on here saying that MCR are shit, well if you dnt like them then why the hell are you on this site to beging with. Deep down you must or you wouldnt have come here to start with.
Yer the posers are annoying but get over it.
