This song is amazing it's so powerful and the ending is awesome. I especially like the "you did this to yourself" part. It's such a true song because writing unhappy songs is just going to make you more unhappy and for no real reason whch is pretty selfish when there are people with real problems in the world. |

Since it's called Isis and it mentions loves being in pieces I assumed that it was making a refrence to the story of how the egyptian God Osiris was cut into pieces by his brother Seth or Set which was witnessed by osiris's wife Isis. But I really have no idea I haven't even herd this song. |

It quite clearly is a stab at the government saying that they are pushing their views onto people, and that people need to think for themselves. It is a amazing song and I think possibly the best on the album and I also agree with what ellie117 said about religion. |

Yeah I kinnda agree but I think it's about people in general and not just her. The song is also saying that people don't need to be dolled up to be beautiful and that you are beautiful anyway. I completely agree with the point this song is making and i think that people that think looking good is the only important thing in life are in a way ugly them selfs for ridiculing others. |

I know that this song is pretty obviously about John and Shaun leaving TBS but (i dont know if anyone mentioned this already) but i could also be about any number of thing that have started out great but have slowly gone down hill e.g. a relationship, bussiness etc. Well if i'm wrong whatever it dosn't matter because i'm only giving my opinion heh well there. Ooo and this is a wonderful song and Straylight Run are the best band ever. |

It is a really beautiful song. It sorta remindes me of like the past like when the sea was the only way to travel across continents if you at all understand what i mean I'm not sure why that is but it does infact the whole album does. |
