of course it's a love song, but it's about finding meaning to life through love when it seems that everything around you is falling apart.
being an israeli and really knowing what living your life when you think about getting blown into pieces every time you get on the bus, this song was just obvious to me from the first listen...
i don't think that by "prophets and their bombs" he means muhammed himself, i think it's just generally terrorists who think what they're doing is for the better good of this world.
anyway, thanks for explaining what the title is all about. i also though that maybe it could be some sorta reference to terry gilliam's brazil, especially cos it works with the "trying to keep my back from the wall" bit.. it did make me imagine some sorta 1984 reality... |

I actually think he sings "really young and stupid and raised by wolves" or maybe "pretty young and stupid and raised by wolves"... at least that's what it always sounded like to me. |
