Whatever if you think it's stupid but I guess a lot of us had a feeling from this song b/c we have felt exactly what Angela felt when Jordan took her hand during the song..it was like a turning point in their relationship and I was in HS when that show was on so I felt like I could totally relate. Now when I hear this song, all I could think of was my mindstate at that point in my life. It was such a good song to go with the moment. |

Im not a huge BNL fan but Ive always loved this song...especially the live version, I think it's the best.

actually, what I heard is that this song is NOT about Gwenyth, it's about the girl he was with before her and she doesn't like him to play it live....which is why I've been to 2 concerts and he has never played it which makes me sad b/c it is one of my favorites. |

When I first heard "Grey Street" I thought, hey, is Dave Matthews writing about me?? I was just living in a sad place and I always thought I'd be doing more in my life...it really comforted me.
Also, about the whole Grey/Gray thing...I'm not South African but I've always spelled it "grey"...just liked the way it looked. It's just one of those words you can just pick whatever you want..I don't think it has to do with anything else... |
