| Beneath the Massacre – Comforting Prejudice Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Anti-christian song, condemning their values, especially the right-wing christians who incite racism and war. "Does rotting scare you that much?" A comment on how people are only religious because it comforts them from the thought of dying and instills delusions of immortality. Most of the song seems to be expressing that religion is a selfish, weak path for those discontent with facing real life, and the last thing that the singer wants to hear is them trying to convince him to join. |

| Saosin – Lost Symphonies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Does nobody else hear the quiet, second voice as the chorus of this song comes in? As he sings 'siren, siren, don't do this dance in my ear', there is definitely another voice layered underneath... what is he saying? | |

Does anybody have an opinion on what Ben means when he sings 'If I were sand and you were oceans, the moon would be why your pulled to me.'? I assume he is implying that the moon/night is the only thing that brings them together, as his dreams and sleep are at night. It is quite clever really. Any other thoughts? |

Ben is excellent at harmonizing lyric content with the music. The words always seem to fit the melody they are sung over. This being said, this song definitely has a great upbeat vibe to it and, as previously mentioned, I believe it is based on a person who has either suppressed all his/her emotions, or has a self-esteem issue, and they finally overcome the fear of letting go. I feel that this is Ben expressing a fantasy he probably has had himself, of just letting go, screaming and not caring what anybody thinks. The chorus gives me the impression that he is finally at peace, and is prepared to even die. I think only Ben can really explain why he is 'asleep on the street'. I'm sure many of you have had thoughts of impressing everybody in your town, or not caring what they think, this is probably just a description of one of Anthony's dreams. |
