This song is just amazing. When I first heard it, I didn't realize it was Fergie. Personally, I expected more spelling lessons coming from her. This song took me by surprise. I think part of the reason I'm so attached to it is because the music video features Milo Ventimiglia, but that's a different story. My favorite parts are, "Yes, you can hold my hand if you want to, 'cause I wanna hold your too." and the chorus, "I hope you know, I hope you know that this has nothing to do with you. It's personal, myself and I, we've got some straightening out to do." Ahhh, it's so good. |

i can`t believe no one has commented this song yet. it`s pretty obvious how she was feeling when she wrote this, or at least the point she was trying to get across. she wants a boy who doesn`t notice her too much, and he seems to have a gurlfriend but he isn`t too much to her, and she seems to have some kind of guy but she isn`t that interested in him. she admires this guy from afar. but i interpret this song in my own way, like all the music i listen to. it reminds me of a guy i like a lot, who always has gurls all over him. and the lyrics about watching him sing remind me of this guy too, because we`re in choir. about winning with words because she has no other way, that`s how i am. i wont get all over him because i`m not that kind of gurl, so i`m trying to win him with words. i love this song, and i loved it before i ever heard it sung. |
