i like to think that this song more talks about truth than intimidation "Four years or so ago, I rode a pony, called him 'Truth'" it's like the whole song, she's waiting for a slow pony named truth. i think what she's trying to say is that truth is very slow sometimes, but it may be worth waiting for. i find other parts in the song that to me emphasize truth and trust, but the most obvious is "And I still didn’t know that I was waiting For a girl on a slow pony home" |
