| this song is so beautiful. i agree with technophobia, i'm going through a sort of semi break up too and this is exactly how i felt. like you're apologizing for what has happened and what is going to happen, but you don't have to be affected by any of that as long as you stay golden and "don't feel bad". i don't know i could be completely wrong. but that's how i saw it. | |

I think that it's obvious that part of this is about drugs, but it also seems like the speaker is an orphan or something. "Lord lord mother we are all losing love Lord listen lover we are all missing something I don't got" So she doesn't have a mother, and the song ends with how she has to get to the orphanage. And the part about being felt up waiting for the train is kind of weird too, I'm not sure what that has to do with drugs or being an orphan. Any ideas? |
