Personnly - I agree with the disgruntled lover angle but I always felt that My Aim IS true - has 2 meanings. One his intentions are forthright and honorable. OR he knows how to point a gun. Lennon at his best - tight and succinct. The whole album is this way for me - minimilist. No wasted words and no wasted notes. And elsewhere on the album is the best drumming Ringo ever recorded!!! |

I think it was written when they were having financial and legal trouble at apple - the whole Klein vs Eastman affair. thats my take.... Either way a great song!!! |

Not sure this is about the beatles. He demo'd it for the other fabs but it was rejected. Its on the Anthology 3 album. Why did they reject this sond and keep Piggies.... weird. I guess it didnt fit in with the mood - not sure...
So Ill go with the lover has left you but life will get better meaning. Its a beautiful song. I love the live version he did on VH1... |

Harrison is Fantastic and All Things Must Pass is one great album.
The Art Of Dying is about reincarnation.. Harrison was obviously a big believer in it. Funny he said on a VH1 show that "Its all the same people" Ie all the folks who did such and such in history and those doing it today. Great guy!!! |
