Amon Amarth – Cry of The Black Birds Lyrics 17 years ago
The blackbirds I would imagine possibly referring to the Raven banner which was commonly referred to in viking history it is even depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry. It could also be nothing more than a reference to the carrion birds circling the battle field often found after a battle. To think of it that way the "cry" would be often the last thing heard by those wounded and left on the field after the pitched battle.
The link with Odins ravens Hugin and Munin is possible though less likely. CowboyFromHell you were right with Odins ravens but they do not fly through the nine worlds they only travel over Midgaard (the human realm) and return to tell Odin of the happenings each day.

Orgy – Opticon Lyrics 18 years ago
Opticon is possibly derived from the Panopticon which was a design for a prison system where by one person could see all the prisoners without being seen and eventually the mere idea of being watched would control them thus negating the need for even one person to watch, its about how fashion or anything like that is a control mechanism we are seeing things and conforming to it without question and for no real decent reason. Fashion is the guard in the tower watching us the prisoners of society and we are willingly being a part of it.
