Jason's totally right, these guys are all big time Marxists. For some reason this song always reminds me of 'No Time To Be 21' by The Adverts. Another great tune. |

I heard this song has to do with the island of pagans in the 1973 movie "The Wicker Man". In the movie a police officer from the governing mainland of the island comes to investigate the disaprearance of a young girl only to find out she was alive and was going to be used as a sacrifice to the gods of nature. The man thinks he saves her but in the end she leads him right to her 'captures' who then tell the man he was the sacrifice all along and proceed to burn him alive inside a giant wickerman. The movie culminates with the hethens singing their songs of worship with the lead man screaming Jesus' name with his dying breath. Pretty screwed up, but a great movie. |
