the locosts plague was because the people were turning away from God (which was just like the tower of babel) so they said that swarm of locosuts would come and cover the land and eat all the plants "turn the ground to black" without a queen,im not sure..its without leadership..but i dont really know why its a queen. so i think the meaning of that song,is showing how humans stray away from God into the sin of the world..but with God,you can always overcome no matter the sin weighing down christians "in darnkess a light shines" and the ending gives you chills all i want to say for the rest of my life is how that light is God though ive been mistaken for this and that point. that light is God just shows how no matter what in life,God is always the light.nothing else |

this is the greatest song ive ever heard. me and some friends have been trying to figure this out,its on the brother,sister album cover but the "without a queen that locust swarm turned the ground to black descending like a shadowy tower on a fish's back" we think that since the locust were without guidance they ran themselves into the ground,as if to represent the down spiral off the locusts swarm,turning the ground to black since they were without guidance it turned unpure the opposite of white purity--black "descending like a shadowy tower on a fishes back" another meaning to the part of the lost locusts spiralling down into evil,is the tower of babel.humans were close to God the closest we could get,but then we became prideful,and built the tower of babel,which was a symbol of how humans were better than God in a way,and could reach the heavens.and the shadowy tower,representing it was evil,which is on the fishes back..the christian fish "fishermen of God" so the tower that represnted us Lost humans and lust for pride and evil weighing down christianity,which makes it so much harder to be close to God in a world so obsessed with Lust for sin. the sun and the moon on sides of the tower,shows no matter what is going on,us sinning,or being like the fish thats weighed down with sin trying to be pure...God is always watching night and day "sun and the moon,their my fathers eyes" |
