so it was really good to read all of this, the songs a lot deeper then i expected without truly KNOWING the lyrics. but the one thing i felt like i could contribute was the the braces part.. "kick off our braces and start straightening out" i mean, it could be to braces on your teeth.. but i took it as braces on your legs like..paralyzing effects from polio or something. i could very well be completely wrong. but i like it like that. |

I think that they nails and wood part is very obviously a reference to when the Jews nailed up Jesus on the cross because they didn't believe that he was the son of God. It's a tie in to the doubt that every Christian goes through with their religion and how we at one time all nail him back up to the cross by defying him and he must be resurrected to wash away the sins we do. and we turn out hate in factories is a tie to the mass production of hate that is prevelant in each and every one of us. SIN. |
