I don't think it's depressing at all. It's just about some slacker who's perfectly fine sitting at home all day doing nothing. I used to have a girlfriend who didn't speak English very well. She heard the song and asked me to explain the lyrics. 'Captain Kangaroo' was the hardest concept to translate. |
