I think that this song is about global warming. ''You will be the death of me'' and ''You will squeeze the life out of me'' I think those lines are about how we actually kill ourselves by still using fossil fuels. ''I tried to give you up But I'm addicted'' Could be about how we actually are addicted to fossil fuels. I won't let you bury "IT" I won't let you smother "IT" I won't let you murder "IT" You can't push "IT" underground You can't stop "IT" screaming out ''IT'' could be CO2?!! It all makes sense to me.
