Now, I`m not going to say that other bands don`t have this great quality, but I think that when you`re a RHCP fan, you can`t help but notice it: RHCP will make you rock out, they`ll make you feel good, they`ll have you giggling at how much they can incorporate sexuality in 3 minutes of song, but at the same time, these guys know how to make one sit back and appreciate true raw emotion. I think that`s what this song has that so many people can`t help but love. Sure, it has a catchy tune, but this is raw emotion,this is shit we all feel at some point. Anthony Kiedis is a genius. |

| Fearox may be right, all I can say for sure is that in "Scar Tissue" Anthony does say that after he even got the native tattoo and after having very deep feelings about nature and the land he did find out he is part Native Indian. | |

I joined the site finally.. I really wanted to add something I noted in this song!! "Two legs that you spread Inside the tool shed" I read "Scar Tissue", Anthony`s book, and in it he explains that one of his first sexual experiences was at school with a girl in a 'custodial' tool shed on school grounds. (One of many, many stories.. that book will make a girl blush and giggle that`s for sure haha) Every time I hear that part of the song, I think of that part of the book!! |
