| Emerson, Lake & Palmer – C'est La Vie Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Who knows, who cares for me C'est la vie" Story of my fucking life. I think it's about a man loving a woman, and she leaves, but he still loves her. Typical lovesong. Still, beautiful song. |

| The Prodigy – Spitfire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| X.xroses4thedeadx.X, are you retarded or something? fucking drowning pool and disturbed aren't emo, they're nu-metal (and shitty nu-metal at that, but thats sort of ironic, because all nu-metal SUCKS)...Jesus Christ, kids today are stupid. | |
| Underoath – Giving Up Hurts the Most Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think the reason some people don't like Spencer Chamberlain is the fact that he never really grunts, therefore forcing Underoath to adopt a "Screamo sound". AoD and CotP were more metal, while They're Only Chasing Safety, The Changing Of Times, and Define The Great Line were more along the lines of Metalcore. Define The Great Line was a lot heavier than Chasing Safety and Times, perhaps with the next album, they'll get their Metal feel back. | |
| Mozart Season – Her Only Medicine Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this song is about a guy knowing a girl who is suicidal, and he's just watching her fall apart | |
| Chiodos – One Day Women Will All Become Monsters Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
THis song might be about The Legend of Oedipus, i dont really know, but what i gather from listening to it is that a guy starts seeing this girl, and for a while its fine, then she sorta does a 180, and is totaly different from what she originally was, hance the "delicate cheeks to rotting flesh" line. Or maybe its about a girl stabbing a guy in the back. |

| Underoath – When The Sun Sleeps Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
by ShamrockandRoll on 04-17-2007 @ 03:45:18 PM tombrady dont u realize this is a Christian-Scremo Band Hence teh word "Scremo" in the genre under the band? -------------- Underoath is metalcore, and yes, there is a difference between screamo and metalcore. Try calling a kid who loves metalcore's music screamo, you'll get a pretty violent reaction. Great song, though. |

| Underoath – Writing on the Walls Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| it seems like the song is about something different than the video... the song seems to be about two people finding love despite the shittiness of the world around them, but the video seems to be about the innocence of young love, and the parents over-reacting to it once they find out, because they had something happen to them in their youth that might have messed them up, or something. The song, however, makes it seem like one person in the relationship is able to break away from the bad part of their lives, but the other person isnt. | |

| Chiodos – There's No Penguins In Alaska Lyrics | 18 years ago |

it sounds like its about a guy not knowing whether or not the girl he is in love with loves him back, and its ripping him apart, hence "my love is my decay". "Playing roulette with a flower" it sounds like later on in the song hes debating whether or not to tell her about his love for her while it slowly develops into an obsession, which ends up in her rejecting his love and him flipping out and killing her at the end, because she ended up not loving him...the summer part means that time seemed to drag on and never end when he wasnt around her, or when he was thinking about her reaction |
