actually "higherpurpose", Bob Marley was speaking of Jamaica when he wrote this song. Jamaica has the highest murder rate in the ENTIRE world, not America. And Jamaicas churches constantly spur out homophobic hatred. |

This song is amazing. As a jew myself, I find myself imagining the struggle my great-great-grandparents had while leaving Russia during the anti-jewish pograms to come to America to live in a country where they could be jewish without harm. This song makes me think of my history. |
