well when i hear "take a trip with me" i think of a big acid trip lol, ive never done drugs though, but i have seen a few interviews on the song, they said it was about there trip to vegas and all the wierd things they saw while they were there...........through the acid. |

again, another success of a song, love it. i think this is about the government system suposably brainwashing America, i dont believe it. But i really like the part " Up on the cross, crusified their problem drove the nail and let him rot" this leads me to think that A7X knows what Jesus had to go through and are thankful for it. |

This song was my favorite on C.O.E. when i first heard it, and it still is. I originaly thought it was yet another biblical reference to cain and abel, and i thought "How could you kill the man, who brought salvation through your pain" i thought they were talking of Jesus, but i looked at the lyrics in the little booklet that C.O.E. came with and found out that it was in memory of Dimebag. |

this song is a biblical referance to the revelations, when the first Beast comes out of the sea and goes and erects Babylon (which might be on Earth today, vegas anyone??) but i didnt like it when i heard "If you want to serve above, or be a king below with us, youre welcome to the city where your future is set forever" cause thats bullcrap, its more like " If you want paradise above, or be in hell and burn with us, youre welcome to the only place that youll fkn burn forever" Anyone agree? |

well, i think, and dont freakin jump all on my back cause im Christian, but i think deep down inside Avenged Sevenfold really is Christian, or Catholic, but because of record sales theyre afraid to admit it cause they think theyre fans will turn from them, but i think somewhere in the future they will come out with it. But dude, they just did a song with good charlotte talking about being delivered and baptised in The River. But i think this song means that "dont get too attached to the things in this life cause all things will end. |

i dont agree with xMandoForgottenx, yeah their old stuff was good, but City of Evil gave birth to fast solos and sick harmonizing that they never did back in the old stuff. I think its a great addition and i cant wait until this fall to get their new one and the DVD. |
