i feel that this song really is just speaking the raw truth.....we all feel the same...we walk by a homeless person and think that its their own fault that they're homeless and we don't want to help them out because we dont want to be feeding their drug habit...well thats what we seem to think they will spend their money on....we dont even give people a chance anymore we seem to believe more in stereotypes than we do in the people......this song tells us all of this and it also tells us about one man who didnt believe in this stereotype and decided he was going to help...Then a man stopped by and I saw a smile inside him As he gently whispered hope......i think that the archangel gabriel in the song represents a strenght in all of us to stand and do something nice and to help others and give other people solace....Then Gabriel just smiled and said be peaced my child Salvation is here today...When the vagabond turned around well without a sign Gabriel just smiled and disappeared....he didnt even have to do much ...he just had to smile and it made someone feel better !!!! |

| i really love this song its amazing......i think this song is about someone who thinks there is someone more amazing then the person he is with out there. he starts to compare her to people that dont even exist....maybe you've started to compare, to someone not there.....he seems to think that the perfect one for him is out there somewhere when really she is right in front of him and he just can't see it......the song goes on to say that if the person doesnt figure out that the perfect one(even with her weaknesses) is right in front him he will eventually lose her...but she wont keep on waiting for you without a doubt, much longer for you to sort it out.....the last line also shows that she's not willing to wait forever....maybe you want her, maybe you need her, maybe you had her, maybe you lost her to another, to another........thats what i think this song is about so xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | |
