| Kings of Leon – My Third House Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The chorus sounds a little different to me, more like "I say, hey, I'm sold from afar But you don't try me I showed you my cars But I don't drive I said, hey, I'm taken it back Like you don't know You blow me away When you don't try" To me, the song seems like he's really into a girl and he's trying so hard to impress her while she doesn't even have to try to impress him or pursue him. She just blows him away without even trying. |

| Robin Thicke – Stupid Things Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The first verse is his comparing their fights to a credit line. Everytime he does something stupid, it's like it's clocked into his account in the relationship, and when he has done enough stupid things, or gone over his limit, that's when she'll probably break up with him. The interest rates thing refers to how it gets harder to make up after every new stupid thing he does. | |
| Amy Winehouse – Back To Black Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It's interesting how this song can go either way...you can see it from the POV of the girlfriend chastising her guy for going back to an ex or an affair...or you can see from the POV of the mistress chastising the guy for going back to his girlfriend/wife | |
| Amy Winehouse – He Can Only Hold Her Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I took the song as being about a relationship where the girl is still in love with another man (hence the heart being already stolen) and the part of her that never dies is the love she has for the other guy. And the new guy can only hold her because he can't ever penetrate her heart because she gave it to her ex. | |
