So this song isn't about who's wrong in their facts over when it was written, it was written by Issac Brock, and performed ON A CD by Ugly Casanova...anybody disagree? What it MEANS however, isn't the politics behind when it was written...unless its all a giant metaphor in which case, you guys are SO INTUITIVE!!! |

Johnny is never really dead, just dead inside...if you take to rape victims they are usually the most serene and paranoid people...they figure they've faced the worst but look for it around every corner. Johnny is a pretty prime example of this...plus his assertion of manliness when his was so brutally ripped away and degraded. |

I think this song is about bullying...not beating up some kid for lunch money bullying but the deeply scarring bullying of wrecking havoc on people's emotions to try and forget your own (the raper/Johnny and Johnny/the girl) |

Okay - my this here interpretation of all this is that Johnny was raped by another man...he takes out all this rage and repression out on the female, the horses, the knives, all symbols of masculinity and power, and him feeling powerless as a man, and having no one to feel empathy/sympathy except a woman. |
