well obviously this song is about falling deeper into drug addiction and when he comes down from being high, he feels like dying. the chorus and just the song in general defintitly has an feel to it but in my opinion thats what makes the song so good. and i absolutely love the chorus. |

wow im not a big fan of country but this is actually a really good song. she does have a pretty good voice and i think the song has a good beat to it. and as for what the song means, i pretty much agree with floydfan. |

i think the song is about him and his girlfriend or fiance or whatever, ending their relationship due to complications. i think that he found out that she was cheating on him or lying about something, and he got really mad and did something really bad that caused her to leave him. i think that he regrets what he did and is debating whether or not to try and get her back or to just move on and forget about her.
OR HERE IS ANOTHER THEORY...
it also kind of sounds like the two had some sort of a complicating relationship and the girl was hurt about something in that relationship. but instead of sharing her feelings, she just pretended like everything was fine. and then she broke up with him without giving him the real reason why.
and when he says "please dont leave, marry me" in the chorus, i think he is asking the girl not to leave him because he loves her so much and it is almost as if he is promising her that things between the two of them will be better. i dont know if that makes too much sense, but whatever. |

this song is actually about a friend of ville's named brandon novak who struggled with heroin and other types of drugs throughout his life. one day ville asked him why he took heroin and brandon novak replied with "its the only way to kill the loneliness." that is the only reason why ville wrote the song. |
