It reminds me of the sheer tension I feel sometimes. those times when your mind is filled with so much you just ignore it all and run screaming into the night. Not looking backward, knowing your going to lose but doing it anyway. acknowledging that you don't know the future, that you don't care, and unabashedly pressing forward into whatever may come. Wild nights, general destruction, being torn in half by the sheer emotion of it all. being ready to burst with the complexity of the universe and trying your damnedest to deal with it all. |

The "not" is not fully pronounced but I definitely hear it. there is a pause before the rest of the phrase. the "not" sounds more like a grunt with an "n" before it but it is definitely there. There is definitely a feeling of building up for something great and being let down at what you find. The great thing about his music and many others like him is that your free to interpret it any way you wish. I do have to admit that the little diddy at the end is my favorite part. |
