I think its about your teenage years. "the days we've taken all for granted" people take their teenage years for granted and dont realise that these are the best years of their life. "are the days i can not wait to pretend again and again" he's talking about that in later years we'll reminisce over our earlier years and relive them in our head again and again "we could last forever" i think this could either mean that our teenage years will always stay with us via the memories, or that if we savour every moment it will seem that they are everlasting. the title 17 also suggest the idea of teenage years. Not too sure about the "disco clouds" bit, maybe saying to clear your eyes and realise whats happening, or a connection to a night club. anyway thats my opinion |
