I love this song. When I got DUMPED its the thing I would listen to over and over when I felt like brooding over it. Every single line I can relate to, it's fucking scary, it's like it's my soul's lyrics pouring out haha. The only part that isn't like that is "sleep brings release, and the hope of a new day", for me sleep just fucks everything up when I go for awhile without thinking of him and then I fall asleep and my subconcious tortures me by dreaming of him! Totally kills it lol. Anyway, I think this is obviously about going through a break up with someone you thought you loved and thought you would last for much longer, forever even (You know me, you know me all to well). All he wants to do is get back together with her, (bridge our division). He tries hard to not think about her (my strength fails me) but he still loves her and everytime he thinks of her it hurts like hell (your picture, a bitter memory). I think this part, and also the name of the song "the end of heartache" means that he is desperate to move on, and probably harbours some hate for her for breaking up with her, he wants to hate her so it's easy to get over her again - (your picture, a bitter memory) But deep down he can't lie to himself, he wants to be with her once more. fuck relationships!
