| Bright Eyes – I've Been Eating (For You) Lyrics

First time i heard this song, the basketball reference was actually funny for me. After listening to it over and over, the song means a lot to me. EVen though it is a bit depressing, considering its about a whore. Conor is just being used and used by this girl, and hes finally standing up to her. Atleast thats what it is for me. It shows me how using someone shoudl never occur, It just makes me think about relationships of the past, and especially the rough ones ... " See people love and they hate, and i guess, its all turned to hate" |

Anticipating Bright Eyes on Conan Obrien, i just wanted to see Conor live with a song i knew. They played this song, which i never heard of before. For me, its a good song to listen too, but not so much to get into its meaning. Just one of those songs i just want to listen to ... |

| Bright Eyes – Hit the Switch Lyrics

Hit the Switch is a decent song. For me, its means that you can do whatever you want at any time you want, for the most part. Like at any moment, you can hit the switch and go somewhere else. No worries in the world, happy. Although, i dont like how the song kind of winds down toward the middle of the song. It may be like a trip down the wrong path, or atleast it sounds like a person is falling down a black hole with this instrumental in the backround. I just love the contrast in characters of the woman and then the narrator. "I'll trade you one, for two nightmares of mine ..." |

| Bright Eyes – Theme from Pinata Lyrics

This song is perfect for me. It's different than most of the songs, in a sense of the feeling you get from it. Its just that i could listen to it for hours upon hours in happiness, just that type of song. Sometimes i may get caught up in the lyrics of some of their songs, but this one is easy. Its more to the point, more straight forward, which i like a lot more because of it. Not to mention, its a little different than most of his songs basically because its just like a simple love song. Rather than going political, or mocking one thing or another, its simple. One of my favorite songs, Theme to Pinata, is simply perfect. |

| Bright Eyes – The Calendar Hung Itself . . . Lyrics

This song was the one that got me into bright eyes, oddly enough. The song gave me the perfect visual of a girl walking down a hallway in a group, and a kid trying to following her. The lyircs Conor used to start off this song just fit perfectly for me, and is so well written. Listening to it, its such a different song than some of his newer stuff. I kind of wish bright eyes would make more songs like this or method acting, kind of more upbeat with a little more anger. I dont know, i just love it. |
