this song is simply about a hobo trying to make it in the world. said "I will fix your rat if you'll take Jack my dog'' I said "Wait a minute Chester, you know I'm a peaceful man'' He said "That's okay boy, won't you feed him when you can?'' that verse is just saying that he cant afford to take care of anyone else but himself. implying that he is homeless....and by the way....why would you fix a rat....its raft. and im almost positive its not fanny. its annie. take a load off annie the f in off makes annie sound like fanny....which is dumb |

| you guys are so closed minded, just because he says he wants to hold her head underwater doesnt mean he wants to kill her, it shows his frustration. and i think this song could very well be about his addiction to heroin, because people refer heroin as a girl.... like in the beatles song hey jude. and it shows how much he needs it, but at the same time he hates what it does to him. but thats just one persons opinion | |
