To be hounest when I found out what this song was about it just proved what I already thought Adam is a tosser. I do enjoy tbs but he really gets on my bitch tits. Cant remember where i read it but he said it was about his relationship with michelle nolan. Im sure we all know that story by now so lets not get in to that. This song hardly gets across how the relationship ended as he cheated on her and which wrecked there best line up. I do agree that fred is a brilliant singer/song writer/guitarist and you can see this from the chorus that he wrote in this song as its an old breaking pangrea song (his old band) and his solo project is dope too. The new album in my opinion is so gimicky. The choruses reapeat one line (MIAMI, WHATS IT FEEL LIKE TO BE A GHOST, ERROR OPERATOR, LIAR ect) Tho the music has improved ten fold but it seems lyricaly with out john its just all took a step back. Well thats my forts any whos. |

Come on the song is easy to understand!! Man goes to a party and a few beers are drunk and he sees a girl. They are completly oppersite but the alchamahol makes them get along rather well. They start to make out (points if you get where the song name comes from) for the night. When the nights over and the alchamahol has disapeared there diffrences become obvious and fail to "become best friends" and go there seperate ways. I guess the chorus means that he is enjoying this madness and being better by design is how they are more lose from the drinking. Of course I know no alchahol is mentioned from this song so it could be attmoshere of where they are but i know I've had a few drink related "frienships" so im guessing its that |

Well I had to sign up just to comment on this song as I know what its about. Saw them at reading being supported with the academy is... a year back i think. Well anywho its written about how i believe the acamamy is.. bass players grandad dying (could have been any member of the band and relative but they come to mind) and how he didnt go to the funeral as he didnt know how to deal with it and flew to see FOB instead. Later on after the gig he met the band and told him the story of what happened. They then all became friends and so on and so on. When I saw them Pete got him on stage and explained the story.
