I first heard this song on a sampler cd. Then, I went to see Something Corporate and this band with a guy who could NOT keep still opened for them. I was like. This song is super sweet! Who is that band?! Then I got home and realized I heard the song before. This song is my all time favorite song I have ever heard. And to think it wouldn't even stuck with me if it wasn't for the man who couldn't keep still during the performance of it. This song to me has a lot of meaning. But probably not the meaning truly behind it. I see the end of his relationship. But I also see it as a celebration song. Not everyone celebrating, but like a personal celebration. To "cause a scene". Also, people tend to cause scenes in breakups too. I have it as my mom's ringtone when she calls me. Because whenever she calls, a scene is caused. Iunno. I tend to relate to it as my mom and I's relationship. Everyone is different though. |
