| Did anyone else notice something about the guitar run from 3:41 to 4:01? I had to listen to it a couple of times to get it... they're playing the title theme from Double Dragon. =P | |

| I think he actually runs the 3rd verse several times... It sounds to me like every extra voice that comes in is his own during the list. Still, I love the "Let's Go Band" riff that gets used in the intro and bridges, and the build up at 2:07 sounds really cool. I think that if you managed to cut the lyrics from this song, it would almost sound serious. | |

| Somebody on Newgrounds made a video for this... god, that just make it even better. | |

Has anyone else been hearing a different version of this song? They've been playing it a lot on XM's Flight 26, and the version they have there is subtly different; some of the chords are more defined, there's almost zero screaming, and the vocalization break at 2:21 is louder. Either way, this is an amazingly powerful song. Even if it's about fighting against yourself, it's still vaguely specific enough to represent any sort of deep, bitter battle, especially a relationship gone wrong. Stunning work, really. |

This parody fixes the biggest problem I have with the original: the lyrics! In the original, he sounded too damn happy about the subject material. They should've made it in a minor key to fit the words. But, I digress. This song is definitely a nice one, and seeing as how Al's got it on a free d/l on his page, I'd be sorry to be Atlantic Records right now. |

Right... go listen to "Private Dancer" and then tell us this song is bad, Weaksauce. Or, god forbid, the Macarena. I'm split on this one; could be about missing someone from a distance, but the line "The miles just keep rollin' As the people leave their way to say hello" sounds like people are going out of their way to get in touch with him, which sounds like something you would do for a seriously depressed person. Weather it's from her just being away from him or being dead, I'm not sure. Personally, I lean towards the dead... it gives the song more emotional weight, I think. |

| I ended up hearing this song at work, an it turned out to be a country song I don't mind listening to for three or four full runs. Good stuff. | |

Now, now, Poopy has every right to show how much of an obsessed anti-fan and St. Anger worshipping retard he is- Oh, sorry. I mean, his freedom of speech. That's it. Because calling this band "un-original" is ever so original itself. Yeah, that's the ticket. And note how people get pissed when a band goes "mainstream." So, they put out a song that happened to catch the attention of every other 14-year-old in existence. Iron Maden did it. Pantera did it. SOAD sure as hell did it. And Metallica... yeah, so did they. It's called popularity. Some people actually appreciate having a good business. You want originality? Destroy the world, then we'll talk original. |
