i think in the beginning it's him that is more blatantly smitten with her and he wants her to say she loves him and she's being like a tease saying she thought she told him (in her own way i guess?). then by the end of the song it turns to her saying what he said and they're in unison of loving each other and expressing that better than they did in the beginning of the relationship? hell i don't know hah. i really love the line "remember the day when we started this, and you made the shape of my heart with your hands"=cute. |

i thought it was "to write a ballad while we say the things, you hope would mean the most to me". and the corrections didn't save that everyone else has already submitted. also is it just my weird hearing or could the part that is listed as being "That like chasing through your misses" translate to something about "chase it, will you miss it?" like if he's not giving her the chase that she wants will she even miss what they had? idk, just my thinking. |

well i'm not gonna list the same thing that everyone's already said, cause i pretty much agree that it's about a girl who cheats on the guy. i think maybe the first few lines indicate that he's wondering if she did this to all of the other guys, if that's how all of her relationshits end. i love the lines "'Cause baby you weren't the first or the last or the worst...we could sit around and cry but frankly, you're not worth it anymore". i think that may just be the best way ever of saying "you're not the first person i loved, i'll fall in love again, and i've been through worst than this and i'll make it without you". overall, its a really great, catchy song. mayday parade is great, they never get old, and they deserve all good things that come to them. |
