I agree with the Bjork thing as well. I was listening to this album for a first time in a while and all of a sudden it clicked. Apparently, Bjork had been followed by a reporter for 3 days, until she finally flipped, let all of her rage explode and she hit the reporter. Great instrumental. Obviously, the meaning of the song can be applied to almost anything and it's gonna be pretty ambiguous with only the song title and intstrumentation to hint as to the subject matter of the song. Personally I'd go with the Bjork theory, but yeah, I love songs which are open to several forms of interpretation. A sign of a truly great song. |

| I think Conor said in an NME track by track interview that this song is about lovers, in a world where oil has run out and the world has been thrown into turmoil. I'm pretty sure it was this song he was describing. Great concept for a song. | |
